Existen programas efectivos para el tratamiento del

bullying

a nivel

escolar. Estas intervenciones son de carácter sistémico, abordando

no sólo a los involucrados, sino también a padres y profesores. Las

intervenciones incluyen crear una cultura de seguridad, respeto y

cooperación, comprometiendo a toda la comunidad escolar.

En Chile existe una legislación que obliga a los colegios y escuelas a

aplicar procedimientos reglamentados frente a situaciones de acoso

escolar, debiendo existir un equipo de convivencia al interior de cada

establecimiento que canalice denuncias y aplique procedimientos de

intervención (18,19).
